Aledo Athletic Booster Club Meeting

Present:  Lee Ann Adams, Joe Breshears, Coach Buchanan, Brenda Cheatham, Lori Cook, Bruce Frantz, Mendy Frantz, Craig Harbuck, Karen Hawkins, Laura Heiss, Greg Jopling, Jennifer Lopez, Laurie Sheridan, Lisa Stockard, T. Stockard, Tammy Viken, Craig Whisnand, Mike Williams, Robbie Williams, and Donna Young.  

Secretary’s Report:  Joe Breshears submitted for approval the minutes from the December 21 meeting (prepared by Cindy Seliga) as posted on the website.  Craig Harbuck motioned to approve.  Laurie Sheridan 2nd.  Motion passed.  

Treasurer’s Report:  Craig presented the Treasurers report with the following information:

Laurie Sheridan motioned to approve.  Joe Breshears 2nd.  Treasurer’s Report was approved as presented and passed on unanimous vote.

President’s Report:  Joe Breshears discussed the upcoming events honoring the 6-4A Division II State Football Champions.  Events scheduled include a parade and ceremony on Friday, January 15 and the annual football banquet on January 16. 

VP of Communications: No report.

VP of Fundraising: No report. 

VP Team Relations: No report. 

Athletic Director’s Report:  No report. 

Committee Reports:

• Membership – Currently there are 183 memberships.  Membership breakdown is 112 AHS, 38 AMS and 33 at both AHS/AMS.  Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it if you have not received your membership decal. 
• Program – Winter program is in process.   
• Merchandise – State Championship shirts and memorabilia remain available for purchase. 
• Middle School – No report.  
• Old Business:  None.  

New Business: 

• Amendment to Bylaws.  Joe presented Board proposed amendments to the AABC Bylaws for vote.  Amendments included an update to reflect Middle School Relations Chairperson and Assistant Treasurer positions.  Amendments passed on vote unanimously.
• Election of 2010 Officers.  Coach Buchanan presented the slate of nominees for the Election of Officers and Committee Chairs for 2010. Group motion to approve slate as presented. Motion passed.  The slate presented for vote by the board and elected is:
