Aledo Athletic Booster Club Meeting3 November 2008 Present: Steve Aldridge, Sherry Aldridge, Judy Ates, Jennifer Boland, Brenda Cheatham, Gary Collinsworth, Kittie France, Bruce Frantz, Gina Hasley, Jimmy Hasley, Laura Heiss, Rob Lowe, Jim Pressly, Barbara Russell, Steve Seaberry, Cynthia Seliga, Laurie Sheridan, Judy Wallace, and one signature not legible.
Secretary’s Report - Cindy Seliga submitted and motioned for approval of the minutes from the October 27th meeting as posted on the website. Kittie France 2nd. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report - Rob Lowe reported and motioned to approve the treasurer’s report for month ending October 31, 2008. The balance as of October 31, 2008 is $33,494.31. Fourteen checks were written for a total of $8,796.39 and ten deposits were made for a total of $17,332.53. Bruce Frantz 2nd. Motion passed.
President’s Report -
- President - Friday is the last home game. It is senior parent night. This week the concession stands have been staffed but at a minimum manpower, additional workers are welcome to volunteer.
- VP of Fundraising - No report.
- VP of Communications - No report.
- VP of Team Relations - Jen Boland reminded everyone that Tuesday is locker room decoration night. Donations are being accepted.
Athletic Director’s Report - No report
Committee Reports:
- Membership - Membership is now at 158.
- Program - A volunteer has been found for the Winter program. Fall programs will be available at the last home game.
- Concessions - A check for August and September concession sales has been received, totaling $7,237.53.
- Merchandise - Playoff shirts will be sold after the game on Friday November 7, 2008.

Team Reports -
- Basketball - Boys varsity will participate in a scrimmage game on November 7th.
- Cheer - ACE will compete at the Fort Worth Convention Center on November 15th.
- Golf - Varsity 1 boys competing at Horseshoe Bend. Varsity 2 boys paced 5th of 14 at UST Classic. JV girls team placed 2nd at Burleson Tournament and individual medalists earned a 1st and 3rd place
- Tennis - Varsity traveled to Wichita Falls. JV is playing district tournament this week
- Volleyball - Volleyball playing ……
- Cross Country - Ken Wallace is district champ. Coach Reid sent a thank you to the Booster Club for continued support.
- Swim - No report
- Football - Varsity beat Mineral Wells 61-7. Next game November 7th at home.
The next meeting date will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 7 pm in the Field House.
