Secretary’s Report - Cindy Seliga submitted and motioned for approval of the minutes from the September 8th meeting as posted on the website. Jan Dedeke 2nd. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report - No report
President’s Report -
- President - Rob discussed the need for parents to fulfill working a concession stand duty. There are still four more home games to be staffed along with merchandise
- VP Fundraising - No report
- VP Communications - No report
- VP Team Relations - Jen Boland has been working to collect information regarding pricing for thank you items.
Athletic Director’s Report - No Report
Committee Reports:
- Membership - Laurie Sheridan reported that the Booster Club membership is now at 135 for the 2008/2009 membership year.
- Program - The Fall Program went on sale at the first home game as planned. Laura extended a thank you for all the support. Winter program is right around the corner. The Booster Club is looking for assistance in coordinating the winter and spring programs. Please contact Rob Lowe or Laura Heiss if you are interested.
- Concessions - The estimated sales from concessions Friday night is $3000. Parents will be contacted to work the next home game. There is still a shortage of committed volunteers for concession duty.
- Merchandise - Merchandise sales were brisk. There is new and unique merchandise this year.

New Business -
- The Booster Club is seeking an individual(s) to volunteer undertaking the installation and removal of the stadium flags before and after each game. Interested individuals are asked to contact Rob Lowe.
Team Reports -
- Golf - No report.
- Tennis - Last week's Varsity matches were rained out. JV won 17 matches to Springtown’s two.
- Volleyball - Record is 20-6 and state ranking is 7th for 4A. September 19th home game against Birdville.
- Cross Country - Varsity girls placed 5th and the boys 10th at Country Day
- Swim - First meet is an outdoor meet against Cleburne.
- Football -
- Freshman black beat Weatherford 6-0
- Freshman Orange won 14-0
- Sophomores will play next week.
- JV beat Weatherford 35-6
- Varsity beat Weatherford 37-14 in a great game
- Next week is a bye week for varsity, JV and freshman.
The next meeting date will be September 22nd, 2008, at 7pm in the DLC.
